Thanks T-Rex for your favorite dinosaur comment. I pretty much figured that out by your name. I'd like to know your favorite dinosaurs. Hi! Thanks for your comments. I love dinosaurs too! My favorite is the Triceratops. I think of him as the rhino of the Cretaceous. No T-Rex would think of attacking a healthy adult. Evelyn, I like Pterodactyls too, but they weren't dinosaurs. Dinos can't swim or fly so they are land animals. I hope that you will learn about the different types of Prehistoric creatures in my next adventure. Mosasaurs and Plesiosaurs ruled the sea while Dinosaurs ruled the land. See the changes from amphibians to reptiles-mammals, and birds. Thanks and keep the questions and comments coming. Hi Stacy,
Thank you for your interest in science. I never knew about Herman Melville's mention of the Basilosaurus. I am working on my new adventure comic book The Prehistoric Islands. I will post some of the artwork in the next coming week. Arrivederci - Professor Saputello Alot of people love whales. There are two types, toothed (Cetaceans like Sperm
whales and porpoises), and Baleen like the largest animal ever, the Blue Whale. The first whales was called Basilosaurus. At first it was thought to be a large sea reptile like the Mosasaur. It was a large mammal! I encourage you to go to youtube and watch walking with Prehistoric Beasts. I think you will enjoy this episode. We think that Basilosaurus was unable to survive the Ice Age due to the lack of food needed to support its voracious appetite. Tell me what you think. - Professor Erme Saputello Hi Fans! I'm really excited to have my own website so I can keep you informed of my latest adventures and would like you to send me your suggestions for upcoming stories. What interests you? Since I can remember I have been fascinated with Dinosaurs, Robots, Machines that fly, float, dive, and visit Outer Space. My cartoons always are based on historical and scientific references, but I like to have a little fun in modifying them for the story. If you have a picture to share with me of your rare machine please do so.
Ajax seems to be getting most of the attention around here and is getting quite a large ego. Accipichia! He'll join Henry and I on our next adventure to the Prehistoric Islands. I hope that you will drop by to share your interests with me. Arrivederci - Professor Erme Saputello Check back later for scientific facts and cool stuff!
